Almune

Recorder, nyckelharpa, hurdy gurdy and bouzouki, as seen in the picture here, are typically the instrumentation that defines the basic sound in Almune when performing at Medieval events. When Nordic folk is played at Viking events or at venues, in churches, etc., it is mainly on the gemshorn, bowed lyre, mora harp in beautiful, vocal-driven Nordic folk songs.
Bonus: Extensive experience with church events and can instruct in medieval and Renaissance dance.

Musicantiga

Musicantiga is an ensemble consisting of musicians with a classical and folk music background who share a common interest in historical music. The ensemble was formed by musicians who have performed at a wide range of historical events for many years. In addition to music, we can talk about the historical background of music and the instruments, which include the hurdy gurdy, recorder, fiddle, mauracho and drum. We are happy to participate in projects all over the country and abroad.
Bonus: Can perform with author Maria Helleberg with talks and book readings coupled with music that fits the time period in her historical novels.
